A snake auger pushes the blockage further down the pipe and clears it for a fortnight. Hydro-jetting actually washes the inside wall of the pipe clean — grease, scale, root incursions, sediment — and the CCTV pass shows you whether anything was structurally damaged.

What the visit includes
- Inspection at every drain access point on the affected line
- High-pressure hydro-jet pass (up to 3,000 psi) with the correct nozzle for the pipe diameter
- Root-cutting attachment for cases where tree roots have entered older clay or concrete sewer runs
- Post-clean CCTV pass with footage handed over on a USB stick
- Report on any pipe damage seen — cracks, displaced joints, scale build-up
- Quote for any follow-up structural repair, separate from the clean fee
The most common Klang Valley drain problems
Kitchen-line grease
The big one. Cooking oils and washing-up scum build up over years, narrowing the pipe until a single oily meal blocks it. Hydro-jetting cuts through grease where snakes just bore a hole.
Bathroom soap-and-hair
Shower and basin lines clog with hair tangled in soap residue. Smaller-diameter pipework, gentler jet settings, but the same idea — clean the whole pipe wall.
Root incursions
Common on landed properties with mature trees near the sewer line. Root-cutting head clears it; if joints are cracked, we quote a sectional reline.
Sediment in older condos
1980s and 90s towers tend to accumulate fines from corroded riser interiors. Periodic jetting + inhibitor dosing keeps the lines moving.
